Using Canadian grown and processed ALPACA

Alpaca Canada celebrated the International Year of Natural Fibre, and invited students of fashion schools in Nova Scotia, Ontario and British Columbia to submit sketches and technical drawings for a single garment or ensemble in Lady's, Men's Wear or Accessories.

Judging was based upon a point system encompassing creativity, marketability, and technical drawing/feasibility of concept and execution of design/workmanship. The winners using Canadian ALPACA created the qualifying designs. Prize money was awarded to the winners.
